The 60 Year Reunion MOVED TO 2022 and it was great!
On August 20, 2022 we were celebrating 62 years since our golden days at Sequoia. (Are we really that old? Sigh!)

Saturday, August 20, 2022 several of us started with the daytime picnic barbeque event on campus. The Sequoia Alumni Assoc. sponsors their annual picnic and even on the years when our class of 1960 is not having a reunion, this is a great way to see what is new and remember so much and be so proud of the campus and the classrooms and the current Sequoia Principal who conducts tours. If you haven’t been to the campus for a while, this is an excellent opportunity to visit, see some old friends, and take one of their tours. (You’d be surprised how many things have changed since we were there and things are better, not wrecked). There are tours including the Japanese Tea Garden, Carrington Hall, the hallways with lockers that we all remember (but newer lockers), and the restaurant and new buildings.

Our own dinner/dance was held at the Redwood City Elks Lodge, 938 Wilmington Way, near Jefferson Ave. in the Emerald Hills area of Redwood City.
